Pavlov is located 30 km northwest of Olomouc on the slopes of Zábřeh Highlands near Bouzov Castle. Pavlov consists of 7 independent districts with the total population of approximately 600, which is less than half compared to the population at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. The decrease of the population was caused by the expulsion of Germans after World War II.

Pavlov – with the highest population – is the central district where the municipal office is located. The aim of the zoning plan is to strengthen its dominance and to accelerate the development of housing and public amenities. In other districts we aim to intensificate the existing built-up area and rather preserve their existing range and we suggest a new location for the sport and community purpose.
