00050 house obřany 01

< 1 / 9 >

A variation of the “white cube”: effective, economical but also impressive. The house profits from all the benefits of the living in the suburbs of Brno: a detached house with a garden bordered by the street on one side and by a brook on the other, within the good accessibility of the public transports, with all the necessary facilities (elementary school and kindergarten) and enough recreation and green areas in the neighbourhood. The house is divided into two parts with different purposes: the one-storey part serves as a garage and the carpenter workshop of the owner, the perpendicular two-storey living part opens up to the south towards the garden. The geometrical composition of the volumes is enriched by the facades in the light blue in combination with the bright wooden windows and the stone fencing.
