Looking back, 2021 was a special year for us in many ways. Ground was broken on a large number of projects and at one point we were supervising 28 building sites. After a prolonged dry spell it was a great feeling to be back in the mix. It is also incredibly humbling. Building just a simple house has become an almost impossible task these days. All too often we have to adhere to nonsensical and very often contradictory standards. So it is that today we feel an even greater respect towards those who successfully manage to deliver something. It’s a small miracle that represents a lot of effort, energy and synergy for all involved from the investor to support staff and right down to each worker on the building site.
For this yearbook we have chosen a cross-section of what we have focused on in the past year. The work presented includes the current zoning plan for the municipality of Postřelmov. It might be the last plan ever presented in this form as a new centralisation directive is in the works that would turn local zoning plans into “colouring books similar to the old sewing magazine patterns” as the former longserving mayor of Teplice, Jaroslav Kubera, so nicely put it.
