The rehabilitation of a villa from the interwar period as a contrast of the old and the new. The conversion of one half of a detached house considerably respects the volume and the articulation of the original building. It keeps and strengthens the existing structure and adds new significant elements such as the glazed bay windows or the cubic volumes of the rooms inserted into the pitched roofs. The extension of the garage with the basement workshop forming an interface between the front garden and the private back garden are purely contemporary.
