The house which has earned the nickname “the ski slope” already during the construction period. The client dreamed of an atrium ground floor house. But the changes in the rules for the gas line security zone and other limitations have so devalued the plot that at one moment it seemed there wouldn’t be possible to build almost anything. The situation was solved by the wise town-architect who has allowed modifying the building line. Consequently the house has got a trapezoid plan and a distinctive lean roof, rising from the west to the eastern side, creating an interesting height-graduating space. The large central living space with a gallery is connected to the garden through a semi-recessed terrace. There are two little hillocks proposed in the garden as a playful reference to the client’s name.
